Review by hotel critic
From the moment we arrived at Casale Talevi, we were greeted with a warm welcome drink by the charming host, Marco, who made us feel like part of the family. The rustic terracotta floors and handmade wooden furniture in our spacious room exuded authentic Italian charm, perfectly blending modern amenities like air conditioning and free WiFi.The estate's picturesque setting amidst the rolling hills of Cartoceto made for a tranquil retreat, where we could enjoy the small lake suitable for fishing or explore the working farm with horse-riding stables. As someone passionate about design, I appreciated the attention to detail in the interior decor, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Not only did Marco ensure our comfort with pet amenities available for our furry companion, but he also went above and beyond by personally adapting the breakfast buffet to our tastes. We enjoyed delicious meals together, showcasing his superb cooking skills - the Putanesca dish was a standout. The option to relax in the garden or on the terrace, surrounded by olive groves and organic produce, added to the overall charm of our stay.During our visit, we took advantage of the tours and ticket assistance provided by the staff, allowing us to explore the natural beauty of the area, including Bagni Lido Uno and Arzilla. The personalized recommendations for local restaurants and activities truly enhanced our experience.Casale Talevi was not just a place to stay, but a destination that offered a glimpse into the authentic Italian countryside lifestyle, combined with modern comforts and hospitality. Marco's dedication to creating a welcoming environment, coupled with the property's unique amenities and serene surroundings, made our stay truly unforgettable. We look forward to returning to this hidden gem in the future. Grazie mille, Casale Talevi, for a memorable Italian escape.
